I have just gotten divorced and we have moved to a new town for my job. My 13 year old daughter is now in a new school--new friends. She is describing heart palpitations and shortness of breath--what is going on?

Dear Doctor, I am a 16 year old girl but I look 18. My parents treat me like I'm 12. They want to meet all my friends before I go out with them. I have never gotten in trouble and yet they don't trust me. They won't let me go to concerts. I have no freedom. Sometimes, I feel like running away. I'm not sure I can wait two more years. What can I do?
