Sandy Knowles is an addiction specialist, having worked with addiction medication since 1990. She is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and has dedicated her practice to working with individuals and families who are impacted by addiction and mental illness.

Sandy received her master's degree in nursing from Oregon Health Sciences University. She is founder of a private program called The Opiate Recovery Program, through which she provides counseling in addition to treatment with medications.

Sandy has had specialty training on the both domestic violence and substance abuse assessment and treatment.
