Kenneth Patey, founder of GrowthClimate, holds a bachelor's degree in child development, family relations and sociology, and a master's degree in counseling (mental health therapy track). He has been a professional educator since 1963 and has taught on a junior and senior high school level as well as on a university level in both the United States and in the Middle East. He has also participated in post-graduate study in Hebrew and in historical geography at the Institute of Studies in Jerusalem, Israel.

Ken has provided volunteer educational support for victims of domestic violence. He currently serves as President of the Board of the Center for Women & Children in Crisis.
